Thought i'd mention this place, Cobbold Gorge, has something for everyone, it's on Robin Hood Station 45klms from Forsayth which is 400klms west of Cairns...... Has camp grounds, powered and unpowered, some units, pool, dam, restaurant and Gorge Tours.... check out the website, i"ve attached a link and a couple of pics, hope it works

My darlin wife lovin' a donkey fired hot tub, under the stars at her sisters place on the Atherton Tablelands.......... and yeah me being such a good bloke ran the bath for her......... good excuse to stand around a fire havin' a few beers........ yes love the water is nearly hot, hehe........ ahh, everyones happy..... tip to remember for next time, 1/2 the bubble bath dosage.

Yeah mate plenty of little Freshwater Crocs about the place...... nothing to worry about though..... good spot for a visit, something different........ glad you all liked the pics.

Looks like a great spot for a North QLD COG. Only 8 hours to Cairns from here.

Went there nearly 18yrs ago when it was starting out .
The owners were really friendly and the gorge hasn't changed a bit. :P

We met the owners Simon and Gaye on a recent trip to the NT. Really nice laid back people. Originally graziers who stuck their toe into the tourism industry (like us ). Their place sounds amazing. Cheers gecko.
