Its many years since I was down that way, but when I was around Port Lincoln one of the things I enjoyed was catching Squid / Calamari. There used to be heaps of them and it was very easy to catch a good feed from any small jetty or warf. I dont know if this is still the case but its worth a try. Easy to catch, clean and cook and O so tasty, far better fresh than anything you can buy.
