Title: Chichester Dam Camping
Post by teemac on Oct 16th, 2011 at 9:54am
Chichester Dam is located in the Upper Allyen Stae Forsest, just past Dungog which is about 1.20mins west of Newcastle.

The bride and i love to go to an area called Coachwood camping ground, has 2 drop toilets, several garbage cans and a beautiful river.

We camp up there in Winter as it is less crowed than during the warmer months, we have had the whole area to ourselves on the odd occasion, other times there might be only 1-2 other campers.

We take our own wood, have a cook up witht the CO,s and stay hydrated with the odd bevie or 2,3,4.

Great spot, free camping, close to home and beautiful bush, recommend to anyone
The only thing wew leave behind are our footprints  ;D
