Interesting pot. My grandmother was a Romany Gypsy until grandad married her.

Would beinterested in the postagewhen you hear from them.

Cheers

Just had another look and if you go down the page there is a calculator. £90 postage to Australia. Makes it a wee bit expensive.  :'(

I like the look of that pot.
Very attractive indeed.

Unsure if I would pay AU$240 delivered.

I got a Email from the seller and he told me it was 65 pounds to post to perth, which makes it $ 200 AU. May have to think about it  :-/

Another thing to consider is customs or export duty, I've just bought an old pot from overseas and fortunately the seller listed it as a "used gift" to avoid those costs. Still expensive with postage on top of purchase price.

As far as I know you only pay duties and GST if the cost/value is over $1000.00

This is correct Derek.
I imported all three Romany Gypsy items from this seller last year.
An oval boiler, a 10" camp oven and a 12" swinging frying pan. The oval pot is great for cooking stews and I use it on my Volcano Stove!
This seller gave a large discount for buying all three items, the post cost for one item was the same as for all three!  No import duties or taxes - they just arrived in the mail in a UPS  box!
A Billmans 9" is included for size reference.

Anybody wanting more info and direct contact details with seller off ebay please PM me.

Just to clarify - you can buy one of each of the three items or three of any item or any combination.
The total cost is the same.
So you can order three oval pots in one UPS flat rate box.
UPS seem to have amazing low airmail costs.
Will foward the deal I got from John Locke company director by email off Forum.
Thanks for your interest, I might even buy another in your order if you need a helping hand!
The oval Romany pot is very similar to a small Kenrick, although the lid is cast iron and a tight fit.  I seasoned mine with Flaxseed oil and it came up good.
Have had a lot of fun asking people to guess how old it is...............
The lovely brass Judge Brand badge throws people!

But it works well on a Volcano Stove on the centre grill or top grill with the Volcano Lid over!  I use it camping like that.

Thanks David..
I am quite taken by the oval boiler.
I'd be happy to pay $140 landed...if others would be interested in taking 2 other items to get it at that cost.
