Title: Volcano Cookstove possible conversion to gas in Aust - with due caution
Post by Lady_Joanella on Dec 10th, 2011 at 2:20am
Following up on info from a group for Volcanos, I put a question on the Volcano Facebook wall asking about the possibility of using the Coleman BBQ gas conversion and they answered with the following which sounds promising.

Quote:
"the problem with the Volcano is NOT the burner. It is the hose, regulator and connector as I understand it. However, your idea would certainly work if you could adjust the height of the burner so that the tube would pass, level, through the wall of the Volcano"

Here is the link provided to the Coleman appliance.  Now to see if I can get one

This looks a possibility - will post when I have found the conversion device and tried it
I have also put the info into
Cooking on Alternative Devices - Volcano Cookers.
To keep the info together if you have any other info about Volcanos or experience with a conversion please post into the Alternative Devices area for Volcanos.
