If anyone is travelling the New England Highway, Barry & Steve Daniel have a Metters at their Burning Mountain Antiques Store at Wingen. It is rusted a bit but certainly looks recoverable. Can make out the METTERS on the lid but not the size. I measured the inside of the rim and it was a tad under 16".

Price tag of $185 but use your negotiating skills.

Has anyone grabbed this yet............if its a 16 its got to be pretty good buying at that price. Are you sure the lid matched the base Derek????

Haven’t got any idea were Wingen is whets the nearest Airport ;D someone go and buy it and post the pics of it
