A great place for a COG
In late spring as well
Fresh nights with sunny days.
This will need an extra long holiday request.

We will most likely be on an extended trip.  If we go ahead with the COG will most likely head off from the COG for the coast and then do the southern part of NSW and around Victoria coast and possibly across to South Australia.

A mix of caravan parks and bush camping.

All in the planning stage at this time.

Cheers

Sounds great idea. Tumut, or opposite Talbingo turnoff maybe, although others may have better suggestions.
Hmmm. You have to book retirees quite early.  :D  We expect to be at an event in Alice Springs until about 30th Sept next year.
Later in Oct would therefore suit us best... unless we get a better offer  ;D  ::)

Hi Denmar1. Your first post on the forum so welcome.

What is access like for 2WD vehicles and vehicles pulling caravans up there.

Cheers

Without checking my calendar I'll put my hand up. Like Lady J us retirees need plenty of forewarning...pretty busy.

It's a long time between COGs !! In the last couple of weeks I have spoken to two other camp oven couples who are really keen to have another get together in the next few months, July or August. Suggested site, central west NSW, it'll be cold but hopefully we'll
have a big log fire........any interest anywhere ????

I'm for it Poddy.
But getting time off from work at present is like finding rocking horse poo.

I'm willing to try though.

If at all, August would be best for us.

Have a trip to Hervey Bay soon, a week trip to the snow in mid July (No camping) and then the gathering at Neurum Creek in late July where I am doing cooking demonstrations.

If someone wants to set a date we will certainly do our best to get there.
