Title: E&G Foundry Ovens
Post by Nelson on Nov 8th, 2012 at 11:34pm
I got these 2 ovens this week, the 10 inch is in great nick, The guy I got it from picked it up from the foundry 30 years ago, and it has been all around Australia so very well used, paid $ 120 for it. The 12 inch one needs some TLC on the out side but in side is fine, paid $ 50 for that one  :)

They look great!

You should do a clean-a-long thread with photos showing each step of getting a rusty oven back to the condition you have these. It would be real helpful for newbies like me.  :)

Sounds like a good idea, I will try and do that if I come across a old oven again  ;)

I'm sure you will; come across an old oven again that is. ;D

If the clean-a-long thread eventuates as well that would be excellent.
