A person staffing the Visitors Center in Balranald told me about this one. It is about 5 km west of Balranald. Turn south on a dirt road and drive slowly. Road was washboardish. Again a few km. They clearly look after the grounds.
The section downriver of the weir is the nicer section and where I took the pics.
Now, I saw a number of fish jump and some birds fishing, but not when I had camera close to hand.
