A while ago Nangar Natuional Park was mentioned as a potential site for a GOG. We took the kids out along with four other groups for a quick overnight camp last friday. There is a windy loo as well as table and chairs and fire rings and grates. There is also some great tracks and lookouts to explore and an enless supply of fire wood. There is no water to access so you need to bring your own supply. Here's a few shots of our camp as well as some of the 4x4 tracks, 2wd access is no worries.
The main area was occupied so we were on the side of the main camp area and had no trouble fitted 3 camper trailers an our van. Massamaan lamb was on the menu for the night washed down with a few muscats afterwards very good night indeed :)

Another good camping spot in Central West NSW.

My teen would take one look at that track and head straight for it on the push bike -
while I sipped my muscat & lemonade and looked up where the nearest hospital was!

It looks like a fantastic spot for a camp!

Btw how do you people find campsites- app? magazine?

Hi Melissa... personally.. I rely heavily on websites created for campers and or travellers.
Word of mouth threw forums like this one is great for picking places to go (or avoid)

I don't buy magazines, and I don't use apps - my phone is a phone, not a mini computer/camer/diary/butler :D

DEC Campgrounds website in WA lists the campgrounds managed by the Dept of Enviroment and Conservation (DEC). These are low cost, basic campgrounds with minimal facilities.

Then there are the 'travel' websites such as ExploreOz, who list camping places & caravan parks where travellers can rest for a few nights

Most WA shire websites list accomodation for tourists, whether it be caravan parks or campgrounds.

More tech savvy people may have 'internet phones' and use other methods but my methods work great for me :)
