I need to get off skid row here with  the challenges before  I would even think about entering any comp. :D :D :D

I definitely want to go for a look and just put it out there if someone was interested then maybe i would consider joining a team. As you know im no chef but throw things in a camp oven and it seems to work. :)

I like the look of the Balranald festival Steve, not sure that I want to compete though, it involves a lot of planning and preparation plus the amount of equipment needed (tables, dishes for washing up, ovens , ingredients and so on) especially if you have to cart it there from another state, I know I've done it all before.

Steve. There are several couples from this site going to Casino 23/24/25 August for the Camp Oven Cook-off, also looking at the COG at Talbingo or Tumut later in the year....see you there ?

thats getting a bit far for me but it would be good to go :)

20th july cambrai hotel camp oven cook off, mayhe this one will be closer to me but entry cut off was 30th june. Might have to join up for the $25 3 course meal [smiley=auto.gif] [smiley=cheers2.gif] :)  will any one else be going?

Come on sa members who's going to cambrai on 20th july. I got accepted as a late entry today. [smiley=yes.gif] who else is going ???????????  :-/ ;D ::) :) :) :) :)

I had a look at the Cambrai comp details and you may have a cheer squad Steve  :D :D

How many entries are in ? The comp is not for me though at this stage.

Ps there is a 12" campoven down my way at the Port for $30 if you are interested.

I didn't ask how many entry's there were but i thought what the heck cant win a photo  contest so will try a taste comp. I've seen photos of your cooking mate you'll be right. You will find me just look for the amateur cook that everyone is laughing at [smiley=rofl.gif].
