Made a Spotted Dog tonight using Laucke Scone Mix.
I came up with the idea to use this recipe while out camping.

!/2 pk scone mix (300gms)
1 egg
milk
vanilla essence
handful resins
handful currants
handful mixed peal
handful caster sugar

Beat the egg.
Mix with enough milk to make a cake like consistency. Tie up in a floured cloth. Drop in boiling water and boil for 1 1/2 hours. Yum.

The white on the outside is the flour I put on the cloth to stop the mix sticking. :)
