That's a fancy name for a chook stew ;D
Looks like it could be tasty. Is that mushrooms and onions ? Wine or stock? Put a flower in the photo and it would make a nice valentines meal :-* |

I like chicken dishes whether they be fricassee, cacciatore, provencale, curried (Indian vindaloo or Thai) or just good old stew and dumplings.
Or even just a good old roast chook. Just on that Maggie and I were out the other weekend and getting a little hungry. Were in a small country town and the only shop open was IGA. Went in and bought a roast chook, went back to the car, turned on the aircon, ripped open the bag, stuck it on the centre console and got stuck into eating it in the carpark. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D |

Back in my younger (Navy) days, when I didn't mind a beer or 12, I ended up on an Ulcer 1 diet for a spell. Fricasseed brains, chicken, rabbit, fish, tripe and eggs come to mind. No salt or seasoning other than a smidgen of pepper. Bloody glad to get off that diet, let me tell you!!!
