Sunday we are heading to Yorke Peninsula for few weeks...hoping to get to few camp spots.....seems from what I've read theres no campfires allowed except on beach sites.......some places we are hoping to stay cost from $7 night to $27 night powered

We picked up ten nights on a powered site at the Edithburgh Caravan Park for $17 a night off the Travel Auctions website.

After a stormy windy night...even at 5am.....looked better by 7am.....so we headed off....head winds all the way..finally getting to Maitland Show Ground by 11:30am...windy but fine today.....will stay 2 days maybe 3...theres power..flushing toilets and hot showers $15 night

There are some very good KG Whitting spots at the back on the right side of the end of the road nd the best bait is there as well under the seaweed mounds just have to know where to look :)

A mate of mine owned one there (second row back from beach) took nearly 3 years to sell it It's a place NOT to be during holiday season

Still here....was suppose to move on today....but the wind was around 100kph........and rained too...so stayed put....yesterday was windy but by 4pm it cleared up

Well we finally moved on today..now at Warooka campground ....had a look at Port Julia....but it was bit wet and boggy in places from the storm.....anyway its day 10 and first time no power.....has toilets and is rear of an oval....donations accepted

Well our stay at Warooka campground ended today and have traveled all of 9klms..yep 9klms.to Point Turton CP..to spend few days with our friends Burnie and Shirley .... $27 night is little expensive but its opposite the jetty....
