Title: Bread and Butter Pud Post by TBF on Jun 8th, 2016 at 10:01pm
Did a bread and butter pud recently when away in the van.
Used the Woody 9inch aluminium CO. A little twist by putting a Malteeser on each serve. Also used a foil tray to save cleaning the CO Just coz. Aart 582016215620.jpg (68 KB | ) |

I use Raisin Bread for mine.
Also add your egg and milk mix then let it stand for about 10min. to let the egg/milk soak in. Then add more mix till it covers the bread. DSCF5792_1_.jpg (211 KB | ) |

When I ran the Lismore Cook Off one of the guys made a date damper on the sweet damper category and then used the leftover damper in the dessert category next day for a bread and butter pudding. That was very nice as well.
In fact I don't think I have ever had a bad bread and butter put regardless of how it is made. :) |
