Did a bread and butter pud recently when away in the van.
Used the Woody 9inch aluminium CO.
A little twist by putting a Malteeser on each serve.
Also used a foil tray to save cleaning the CO
Just coz.

It tasted very good indeed.
Could of had more egg and milk mix to make the pud moister.

I use Raisin Bread for mine.
Also add your egg and milk mix then let it stand for about 10min. to let the egg/milk soak in. Then add more mix till it covers the bread.

When I ran the Lismore Cook Off one of the guys made a date damper on the sweet damper category and then used the leftover damper in the dessert category next day for a bread and butter pudding. That was very nice as well.

In fact I don't think I have ever had a bad bread and butter put regardless of how it is made.  :)

That was the one Lyle made , the best Bread and Butter Pud Ive ever eaten, I went back for two goes at it.

Using brioche bread, sultanas and strawberry jam.  10 inch deep camp oven.

My personal favourite damper is my cinnamon date damper. I havent made bread and butter pudding for twenty years but this just inspired me. :)
