I was sent these photos by BGW71, he asked me to post them here.
Ive never seen a 12 inch version of one of these ovens before, nor a lid handle like this one.

Only other one without Furphy on it that I have ever seen is an 8 inch one.

Furphy told me many years back that they bought the Kangaroo Stove Company and with it came the camp oven moulds.  They used the base moulds and put Furphy on the lids of the 8 and 14 inch ones.  I could never get any further information out of them as to when and where.

This certainly adds a little more to the story that there were other sizes.

Derek going by the measurement across the pot would you call it a 11" or 12"

Good point Brett. From the photo it looks like 285 mm which is 11.2 inches so closer to 11 than 12.

Mind you 12 inch was a pretty common size and considering Furphy said they got the kangaroo moulds that they used in 8" and 14" I would guess it was perhaps possibly sold as a 12 inch but . . . . . . You never know.

Might even be a 10" out there somewhere.

What do others think???
