Bacon and eggs without the bacon. Interesting. I would like a taste for sure.

Robert, have just been talking to Rastas (member on here But not a regular) as he does a lot of cold smoking.

He regularly smokes eggs.  Clean dry eggs into the cold smoker for 40 to 60 minutes then into a sealed bag and into the fridge for 72 hours before eating. Sealed bag stops the smoke permeating into everything in the fridge.

Sounds pretty simple really.

I have this picture of the chickens getting out and having a something to eat and sitting back, having a cigarette and going to their nest box and laying their  smoked flavoured eggs. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yes a good cartoon but not politically correct these days.

With cold smoking Derek you have to keep the temperature in the cabinet below 90F so the colder day or night the better. Will be trying soon as I need to do more cheese. Cheers
