Title: Duck
Post by Derek on Jan 29th, 2022 at 12:59pm
Don’t know if it is across all of them but my local Aldi had fresh duck today for $14.99 each.

Roast duck here in the next few days.

Just looked online and it is currently a special buy.

Got a frozen one in the freezer I bought from Coles that was $22 so yep, it is a good buy alright.

We love our duck here.   :D

Cooked it up for dinner.

I butterflied then and roasted for an hour and a half with just a rub of salt to crisp the skin.  When cooked carved into six large pieces.

Served with veggies stir fried in soy and oyster sauce and some salted plum dipping sauce.

Was delicious.

Leftovers.

Duck fat roasted spuds and broccoli to go with the duck.
