Title: Bread & Butter Pudding - Hot Cross Buns

Ingredients
6 small hot cross buns
Butter
Jam
3 large eggs
500 ml of milk
1/4 cup sugar plus more to sprinkle
Nutmeg

Method
Split buns, butter and smother in jam.  For these I used cranberry sauce.  Place buns in tray.

Beat eggs, sugar and milk then pour over buns.  Sprinkle sugar and nutmeg over buns.

Bake until the milk sets and the sugar on top caramelises.
