Maggie and I are home alone this weekend. Some of our family have been struck down with covid.

To celebrate I am cooking Maggie’s favourite meal of roast pork, veggies, gravy and apple sauce followed by sticky date pudding, butterscotch sauce and dollop cream.

I am sure there is also a bottle of nice red in the cupboard to go with it.

Back to grandparents duty tomorrow.

Cooked one of Nanna Maggie’s favourite dinners tonight for Mother’s Day.

Roast pork, potatoes and pumpkin with steamed cabbage, gravy and apple sauce. Followed by individual sticky date puddings, butterscotch sauce and dollop cream.
