My iPad has died on me so currently doing all my online work on my phone.

Not sure if to replace the iPad or not.

If things go haywire on here just hang in. :)P

Life takes some amazing turns sometimes.

My iPad has been unusable since last Saturday and I have researched and researched but everything was pointing to it needing a new batter.

Then out of the blue someone said, have you tried this??

Bang, up and running again.

I still need to make a decision as to what to do with it though as it has five cracks across the screen. :o

I know what it is kind. After years of ware and tear we too start to get a few cracks and need a bit of T L C. ::) ::)

What a day. Got my iPad back, videos are now working for Apple viewers and I found a lost cache of photos that I had in the cloud. :)

You can get the screen replaced.

What was it you done as I have two here I would like to give the kids.

Robert I was sitting here using it and it was fully charged. The screen just went black. I pushed the on off switch and the little emblem came up to say the battery was flat.

Couldn’t reboot it or anything.

I read all about it online but nothing worked. I downloaded a dodgy repair tool on the laptop but it wouldn’t connect to it in fact couldn’t even get it to connect to Apple iTunes on the laptop.

I read where someone said that when you connect to the laptop it should send a signal to the iPad to boot it. That wasn’t happening.

Then someone suggested pushing the USB end of the cable into the laptop a few times. I did that about a dozen times and all of a sudden the Apple logo popped up on screen.

When it loaded I went through a full hard reset and it hasn’t stopped “yet”.

Why it did it, well that still remains a mystery.
