Dropped the caravan off at the repairers to ģet some hail damage repairers.
One complete side and the front of the van. Talking to the repairers I asked him why caravan builders don't use a thicker aluminium skin on the vans. Apparently it is all to do with the weight of the van. |

That doesn’t surprise me Brian. New ones are light alloy frames, foam and very thin sheets of fibreglass.

You are lucky Brian. A lot of people are reporting insurance companies are writing vans off rather than repair for hail damage.

Repairs are finished except for the new stickers and a deisel heater which will be done on Monday. Looking good.

Good news there Mate what diesel heater are you having put in.
If a Chinese one make sure they do not use the fuel line which comes with the heater. Not a true diesel fuel line and will crack and suck air in. Had to have mine replaced today. CheersBear |
