Title: Argentine Fire Ants Post by Derek on Oct 16th, 2022 at 11:35am
They have once again found Fire Ants here. This time a couple of hundred metres from our house.
Last week they baited our garden and this morning two helicopters were out and about baiting the surrounding areas. Managed to get this video of one. You can see the big white bait tank on the side. The baits are a very small yellow coloured pellet. |

I was chatting to the Fire Ant workers out here and they told me that the original nest found in the district was on the block of land over the road from us.
The location map for 2022 of the nests found has us surrounded now. |
