Title: Metal detecting
Post by Smokeydk on Dec 8th, 2022 at 3:47pm
Ok its not cooking....but today a MineLab equinox 800 arrived 4 days after purchasing it...($1249) including $450 extras in price

I already own an Equinox 600 and an Xterra 305
the nox 800 detects gold as well...plus it folds up instead of having to pull it apart when finished

Boys and our toys.  Nice buy.

Have never had much interest in metal detecting.

I did pan for gold a few times may years ago though.

Hi Dave
I see you mention magnet fishing. Looks great
I have watched it on you tube and face book. plenty of muscle needed . I seen them hook onto a motor bike and also a shopping trolley. They also have trouble unhooking some times
Good luck with your hobbies.
regards Kev (Kevvie) ;)

I've seen the magnet fishing while I was in China.
They haul upside stuff.

Watched a couple of American shows on the magnet fishing.

What always surprises me is why people throw seemingly good stuff into waterways.

Hey Dave, you have never really mentioned a great deal about your metal detecting.  What sort of stuff have you found?
