Brian, what you thought is a serial number is the old Kangaroo Stove Company phone number that Furphy bought out.

Must admit that is, I think, the first time I have seen a 14” with a year stamp. 1995 (95) in this case.

A genuine Furphy Foundry made oven there Brian. The value is really what a buyer is willing to pay. Prices seem to be all over the place these days.
