Lauren and Kris are downsizing so they can travel with their van for a couple of years.
I scored the smoker.
Using it first time today.
Doing snags and drumsticks.

Temperature and time for both please. Keep your eye open for Aldi special which is a chicken leg hanger. Will see if I can find my box. You may be able to buy on Temu.

My Aldi smoker is the same made under licence. Cheers

Robert, the legs were 90 minutes at between 120 and 140c.
Had some issues holding at a temp.
The rub was something I picked up at TKMax a while ago.
Smokery flavour was definitely there.
Chicken was not dry.

Robert, the snags were 50 minutes at 120 to 140C.
Could have done with 5 to 10 minutes less.
Very smokey, top tasting.

Thank you found my smoker will not hold below 100/110 which is a bummer.

Was given two rabbits which I have in brine and will smoke to morrow.

Keep experimenting mate it is a great hobby .cheers

For those interested, this is the rub I put on the drumsticks.
A hint of spice and tasty.
From TK MAX.

Be careful TBF - smokers and rubs are a slippery slope.

Next thing you will be posting your custom hand-made rub recipes...   ;) :D ;D

I'm loving the whole smoking thing.
I think I'm on the way to addiction.

Maggie is not a real big fan of smoked food so something I doubt I will get involved with.

Son-in-law has one so will have to rely on him for my fix.  :)
