I am crank as all get up.
Most of the heatbeads have failed. Hotshot brand. So I have a slow broil rather a roast. Not happy. |

Doesn't look too bad - low and slow is hard to beat.
When you say the beads failed, how so? Just don't light? |

They did light. Put them under and over the CO. Checked them 40 minutes in, and many were cold. Tasted okay. IMG_20250713_165418.jpg (2896 KB | 30

They should still be good unless too much moister in them. May need to to dry some out and see how they go. Cheers

Seems to be a hit and miss with all the charcoal briquettes these days.
Have heard of this problem with all of the known brands. |
