I am determined to use up these sultanas.

Another recipe from Scottishscran.

Used to bake these on the bottom of my Bedourie Camp Oven well before the forum and my website got going. Kids loved them when we were out camping and I still do.

I substituted their fruit list for sultanas. 8-)

It's not a rock cake if it doesn't have sugar sprinkled over it and a glace cherry on top! ;D

I guess at the end of the day you can put on what you want. :D

Sugar sprinkled over was an option in this recipe but I reckoned they had eight sugar anyway. :)

I hadn’t heard of it either however if you do a Google Search it is quite the norm. ;D ;D

I was thinking one of those maraschino cherries would be nice. :)
