Was a nice day so pulled out a camp oven this morning as has been a long time since I cooked in one. Made a damper with spinach and feta cheese. Turned out exceptional and yes I haven’t forgotten how to use a camp oven.
An easy recipe: 3 cups of self raising flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 cup crumbled feta cheese 1 cup finely sliced baby spinach leaves Milk Simply mix everything together then add enough milk to make a soft moist dough. In the camp oven for 40 minutes. Was delicious slathered in butter and even better with a slice of my home smoked pastrami. IMG_5799.jpeg (182 KB | 8
