My favorite are Bandana fritters.
If anyone wants a good fritter batter recipe then this is good.
I got it out of an old Chinese Cook Book years ago.
2 cups self raising flour.
1/2 teaspoon Bicarb Soda
1 1/2 cups water.
That simple and makes enough for a ton of fritters.

Is that the one you used on all those whiting fillets at the Alstonville COG???

Nope only ever use that one on fritters, thats what its made for.
Not sure what I used on the whiting fillets, usually I crumb them, but I do have one batter recipe for fish, so could have been that.
