Thanks guys. Today was also our wedding anniversary.

However, the day did not turn out the way I neither wanted or expected as I ended up in hospital for a while.

From the cochlear surgery I have developed palsy. Right side of my face has dropped due to pressure on the nerves from swelling. Also my taste is all over the place and I cannot close my right eye properly.

Now back home with a positive prognosis and to use my surgeons words “I am sending you home with a truck load of medications” and expect to have a full recovery.

As a result of all the medication I am unable to even have a celebratory drink so we will wait for another day for that. :)
