When I initially bought the slow cooker I thought it may be a bit large for the two of us.

However found these lamb shanks in Cloles the other day and they have to be the biggest lamb shanks I have ever seen and fit the cooker nicely.

At least we will get a good feed off one each. ;D

Didn’t get a photo before we ate the original shanks but here is an after photo from the other night. Definitely a muttony flavour. I enjoyed it but Maggie wasn’t fussed.

Just popped these two lamb shank pies out of the oven for dinner tonight.
