Took the Grandson fishing on Saturday to the South Pine River. Said he thought he knew a good spot.

He had been down earlier in the day and set his bait trap which when we pulled up had quite a number of little bait shrimps.

He did hook one decent sized “something” which we didn’t get to see as it came off half way in.

A pleasant few hours beside a lovely watercourse.

Derek, is that at the dip in the road not far from the water treatment works?
Is the road still closed Off?

Not sure where water works is. If you can work out the map it was somewhere in the red circle.

Young fella has been back again but without success. He’s not giving up though. :)
