Title: Drop Down Table
Post by Derek on Mar 5th, 2023 at 6:00pm
I have never had a drop down outside table on the motorhome and always found it a nuisance. All our caravans had one and they are quite useful.

Bit the bullet and bought one online and today eventually got around to fitting it.

All glued, screwed and sealed.

Very happy with it.

In the photos you can clearly see where I removed all the decals off the walls.  Think I am going to have to get some professional help with cutting it back.

Actually not as funny as it sounds.  On a flat surface the motorhome sits nose down a bit so I levelled it inline with the floor inside.

From the outside it does look a bit out of wack.   ;D ;D ;D ;D

You might need to get some cutting past and buff it out to get the old decals off.
If the body is fiberglass, it should have a clear gel coat like a clear coat so it should polish back. A good car detailer might help.
As for medication mine normally comes in brown bottles. :)

John, I tried that but am told it is at the stage where it now needs a wetsand to bring the gel coat back.  Not sure I want to try doing that myself.

I still need to get a small fibreglass repair done on it so will talk to the fibreglasser then.
