These look like a neat bit of kit.
Kingbrown, Ron Wilson recently acquired a Weber Baby Q and has some of these. He made a short video on fitting them. As I do a lot of baking my concern would be that they could reflect extra heat and I talked to Ron about that and he was going to do some testing. It’s interesting that people have been lining the base of the Weber with foil for ages to help with cleaning but Weber themselves warned against it saying it could increase the risk of fires in the box. I must admit though with a plastic paint scraper and a little oven cleaner they are not that difficult to clean. |
