This advert popped up on an email today and I went wow!!!

Why do I go to all the bother of making snags when you can get them at this price.

Then it occurred to me, at least mine are all meat and not full of stuffings. ;D ;D ;D ;D

No, boned and rolled. That is at both IGA and Woolies. Haven’t priced the butcher yet.

This not a bad price for pork leg. Unfortunately not enough fat for sausages and I am still to find a butcher who will sell me pork fat.

Boneless pork shoulder was $9.99 today at ALDI.

Derek you would like the farm gate we get our meat from. Their pork would have four times the fat that shoulder has. It is free range English breed but they are putting different breeds over their sows trying to reduce the fat, but the flavour is as good as we’ve ever had. I have never made sausages, not sure if I’ll ever try at my age, but never say never.

I often look at pork bellies to make bacon and find that they are too fatty, that may solve your problem.

Yep, I actually did that once Muzz to add some extra fat. I like pork belly dishes and it is often too fatty to do anything with.

Was in Costco once and they had full pork bellies that looked like they would have been good for bacon.

Wow that is a lot of fat on a chop. About the right ratio I am finding is about 1/3 fat t 2/3 meat. That looks a lot more fat than that.
