Hey Derek,

Did you ever get an answer as to why they pulled the "City Slicker Dutch Oven Table" post on IDOS?

I don't understand.  I found the posts but they are not at the dates of the last post.  I see they had a melt down (Welcome to the International Dutch Oven Society.   We just recently experienced a database crash on the database that powered the website.   We are in the process of restoring the data from our backups.   The forums are already back up and running, feel free to participate with us there.), don't know if that has anything to do with it.

The post is back.  Look at the last post to get an idea what happened.

I edited my original post and the thread "dissappeared"

Hi Derek,

Have just joined your group, enjoy your site very much and look forward to watching it grow.

Ken and I have just taken possession of our new Camel Camper just over a week ago and are very enthusiastic to learn all we can about good camping practice and taking on board any worthwhile hints.  Love your camp cooking section!!!!!  We have purchased our camp oven and are looking forward to giving it a try, will use one of your receipes for a first up trial.

Keep up the good work Derek and look forward to many happy hours reading through your site.

Regards

Chris

OK Chris, I have never heard of a Camel Camper, now you have my attention tell me more.
My wife and I are semi-retired and are mad keen travellers, bush campers and camp oven cooks. We have a 4X4 with a slide-on and love the remote areas of  this country.  Rob.

Hi Rob,

Derek has posted the Camel website for you.

Ken and I are semi retired as well and love the Aussie outdoors, we bought the Camel (Bushman model) after looking at most trailers that were available for viewing in and around Brisbane.  The Camel was streets ahead.

We have a new Nissan Navara STX diesel which pulls this camper with ease (weighs about 800kgs) and we look forward to years of enjoyment just roving.

We may meet you on the track.
