Heck, Furphy, ain't you as young as you was?

Not chili for me on that, pepperoni.

I don't take pepperoni camping.

Hi LK

Curry and chilli are like Northern Territory Champagne to me which is made up of Metho and Salvital
either way you have it you still end up singing that Johnny Cash song

Possibly best if some of you folk dont camp with us!!
Mutten chops just on "green" cook up so tender you would think it was best spring lamb.
Beef, steak particularly, when it gets that look and smell about it, then is the time to make a real hot curry. The meats own bacteria breaks down the fibres, but you have to cook long enough to kill them so they dont kill you.
When working in the bush we always have a plant of birds eye chillies growing, along with garlic they are the best bush medicines you can have with you.
The thing about chilli is that as you eat more you can tolerate it hotter and hotter. The limit I suppose is when you have raw garlic and birds eye chilli on toast for breakfast (I have seen it done)

mikel, I can remember my mum sewing up a whole wallaby in calico and hanging it on the verandah for about ten days to break down the sinews and tendons. The "aroma " was pretty crook but it ate alright. Same story as jugged hare, too tough otherwise. Rob.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Wazza, you're much too young!!!

On this island hunting season starts in September, but many prefer to wait until Ocotber or whenever the weather starts to really cool off.  They prefer to hang their moose or caribou naturally, rather than take it to a meat cutter.  Of course, the claim is the taste is better.

I don't knw about 'roo's.  Is one allowed to hunt roo?  When's the season?
