Still in the process of arranging things at the moment but am looking at getting one of the new Suzuki Grand Vitara Prestige four wheel drives.  Yes I know it isnt a Tojo or Patrol but I dont need a really large 4X4 thats why I originally bought the Pajero io, but it has everything I need in a little truck as well as the power to pull the camper trailer that will also soon be gracing the garage.

Here is a pic however will run up a few more when it gets delivered.  Not the best pic in the world but shows the front end.  It's a bloody long way from Japan.  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Hi Derek

Thats a great little 4x4 you will get plenty of enjoyment from it .
I had one in 1998 and went everywhere but eventually gave it to my Daughter when she got her licence
She eventually sold it and bought a Hyuandi Excel and said it was the biggest mistake she had ever made.

Cheers

Picking her up tomorrow.  Wink Photos coming soon.

Would you believe that there isnt a genuine Suzuki tow bar to fit it in Australia.

Our usual coastal destination for a few days fishing is Crescent Head (check Curl restaurant)
When the jewies, tailer and bream are on those beaches really fire, but you need a good vehicle to do the job. Now I dont expect you will be doing this with yours Derek, but the vehicle of choice in that area for top performance in sand and long life in the salt conditions is Suzuki. Grin
Bullet proof little buggers, my stepson has one, canes the begeeezus out of it (he is like, a lightweight 20 stone chef) jumps it over gutters, flails it through dry sand I cant walk over and it comes up for more. And its been doing it for over 7 years! Cool
You wont regret that purchase, I am sure. Smiley Smiley
cheers mikel

Mikel

This little baby is going to go everywhere I want it to. Mountain, valley, dirt, bitumen, sand, snow and salt.  Why buy a 4WD if you cant use it to it's full extent.  Wink

From all reports they are unstoppable with a neat 2.7 ltr V6 motor. Oh, not to mention the full leather interior and climate control  Roll Eyes

Yes I ............ know but I reckon a little pampering is good for the soul  Tongue
