Folks

It's that time of years again.  When I think of Christmas and Christmas songs I always think of Bing Crosby singing - "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" and "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas". While we may never have a white Christmas here in Australia it's still the theme for the Chat Boards.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Cheers

Well, some call it a green Christmas, if you have no snow, but to me that's a brown Christmas.  Brown because so many summer greens have died and turned brown.

In case you don't get any other white Christmas messages:

Or maybe:  ...

We have been hearing about your fires and lack of rain.   We are the reverse and have had one of the rainiest falls I have seen.  Our snow was pretty well gone on Friday, but....  If you want a peek at what it's like here, during our daylight hours, or St. John's on this link:  http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ check here:  http://www.roads.gov.nl.ca/cameras/  Pynn's Brook is the cam nearest to me.

Yes, we drive on the 'correct' side of the road!!!  No, that's not sand.

I was going to post something entertaining here but when I got on and saw it snowing I decided to go and light a fire and put some warm clothes on.

I wish you all a happy Christmas, its been a pleasure to swap ideas and talk to people with similar interests, the three c's..... camping , cooking and cast iron camp ovens.
