G'day all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its been some time since my last posting so i apologise for that.
I would love to know if anyone has a perfect bread recipe?
I have been doing a lot bread baking lately trying to perfect a loaf. i have been using both, a camp oven and a conventional oven. But i'm not referring to a damper recipe, i mean a white bread recipe. There's nothing better than a freshly baked loaf comig out of a camp oven.
Here's a few pics of my latest outing anyway and one of my young bloke who i've got started early with camp oven cooking.
hope you enjoy.
Astro.

P.S. it would be good to see a few more photo postings on the sight, i love checking out other peoples set ups and gear. Food for thought.

Hi Astro

Congratulations on becoming a "Silver" member.  Nice looking loaf of bread there.  Was that a camp oven loaf or a home one.

Have made a few loaves of bread over the years in the czamp oven.  The trick is to keep your dough nice and warm while you let it rise.  The best way I know of doing that is to put it in the car in the sun.

Cheers

Derek

Those loaves are from a conventinal oven, but have been doing alot of experimenting in the camp ovens. It's an honor to have become a silver member i have really enjoyed contributing to the site. I'm definitely here for the long term. Thanks Derek for setting up such a great site where people can share common interests with camp oven cooking and the outdoors.
