And their jobs just the same
You got Texas we’ve got Tassie
We’ve both got Western Plains

You go camping we go camping
Now that’s the strangest thing
In the mountains by the ocean
In the Summer or the Spring

You’ve got rivers lakes and mountains
And we have them as well
You amaze us with your stories
Though we’ve got yarns to tell

You’ve got sights that fill with wonder
We have got some too
The Nullarbor to cross our country
The Rockie’s are with you

When we go camping and we do cooking
Camp ovens are our thing
Dutch oven cooking while you are camping
Is what you people bring

But it don’t matter what you call them
The food tastes just the same
It gives us pleasure country cooking
Camping in the bush again
