I would have used 20 beads on top of your oven and maybe 12 underneath it.  Looks like it hit the underside of the oven lid as well.  Does that usually happen.

Yeh, but I like the pattern,

I started with 8 beads under & the same on top then fired up some more but ran out when I wanted more heat.
