YOU CAN BET YA BLOODY BLOOTCHERS

When you think of all the stories and the yarns you hear today
From the members and the yarners who can yap your ears away
It would stun a bloody wombat or a fast paced kangaroo
But I'm here to tell you one and all they will stick to you like glue

If your looking for some info bout some cast iron camping gear
You can bet ya bloody blootchers that you'll find the answer here
Theres the questions that the new chums ask about what they can do
To ensure that they can season a camp oven bright and new

There is talk about camp cooking and the cooking that they do
You can learn about a damper or the cooking of a stew
Then theres heat beads and instruction of the baking that they did
Placing 10 beneath the oven and then more upon the lid

And you want to hear the stories of the camping in the bush
When they tell of wishful old days when they joined the outback push
All the tracks these blokes have travelled and the girls theres one or two
Who had wandered  through the outback when the swagman boiled his brew

When I let their stories fill my mind and picture what they've seen
I recall the sounds of bush birds hiding in the old gum trees
And the smell of drifting woodsmoke as the bushman stops at night
Makes my mind recall with wonder all the blazing stars in sight

Yep you really hit the jackpot when you found your way to here
You can get advice on cooking, drinking wine or home brew beer
And if by chance you get to meet as often members do
You can bet your bloody blootchers that they'll shake their hand with you
