This summer season I intend to get up to Mt Stirling and have a look at the 3rd incarnation of Craigs Hut.
Always a good weekend away.
 

My mother-in-law fell down a wishing well, I was amazed.       I never knew they worked.

Just to refresh the memory cells on Craigs Hut here is a picture a few months before it burned for a second time.  Ski's only for this time of year as the area is shut for all wheeled traffic.

Alpine bush fires.  Heaps of the high country (and huts) burned including the fire tower at The Pinnacles.
It burned in 1993? last time.  I know it was re-built in 1993 anyhow.

Thanks . I thought so but not sure . They have a lots of fires in California that burn a lots of houses and any thing else in its way.
