Just wondering if any of our forum members have ever attended the "North Pine Bush Poets’ Camp Oven Festival"
It sounds ok and isn't too far from me but the itinery is a bit sketchy for me to make a decision & book a spot. I do enjoy a bit of bush poetry & have been to Longreach a few times and caught up with some bush poet's at the Stockman's Hall of Fame.

I heard that it is no longer going to be held at the old Petrie Town and that camp oven cooking wasn't going to be part of it anymore.

Have you got any details.

After some research I have cut & pasted from the relevant site. I find the title a bit misleading but after reading it appears that you would be correct in saying that the CO part has been discontinued.
