I am only a novice at bread making and have been turning out some nice loafs using the bread mix and it is encouraging to see others peoples results..well done all.

Hey Skip, How the hell are ya?

I've never tried bread yet and this may sound stupid but you said you cooked it on top of the trivet? Doesn't the dough go through the holes in the trivet, or do you cover it in foil?
Let us know, after seeing your loaf I'm keen to give it a go.

G'day Robbo,
                mate the bread mix is quite thick & elastic. I cook direct on the trivet. (The perforated mesh ones)
the dough doesn't go through the holes but the base of the bread does have little dimples over it. The beauty of this way I think is a crunchy crust all over the loaf. Give it a try Robbo & don't be scared to lift the lid for a look, It won't hurt.
