Hi everyone,
I have just returned from our weekend camping near the Jondaryan Woolshed with my family and thought I would share some happy snaps with you. On Friday we arrived at lunch time and were greeted by a very heavy thunder storm and for anyone who knows the black soil plains of the Darling Downs it was like walking in toffee, my Japanese Sneaking Boots were plastered with at least 5cm of gluey black mud.
The vehicles tyres were about 15cm larger in diameter and we left two distinct dry lines on the track as the top layers stuck like the proverbial s@^% to a blanket.
Anyway the weather cleared up into a hot sunny afternoon and soon all was dry again.
We had a brilliant stay with some fish caught (Yella belly)a feed of yabbies and CO cooking.
This snap shows the campsite and some family enjoying lunch
