Hi All,

Did the usual Australia Day thing and camped at Hedlow Creek. It was a great weekend with lots of mates and lots of fun. Had a go at the pavlova, With not a lot of success, I ran out of patience after cooking a monster Aussie beef stew from about 1pm (My 15 inch furphy was full to the brim Shocked), I had had enough of cooking and just wanted to get into the beers. Grin Grin The portable power worked a treat on mixing the pav however I don't think I cooked it long enough and it sank into what resembled a biscuit more than a pav, Anyway lesson learnt. Heres a few piccy's of the camp area.

Cheers

Jono

Cheesy love the Portable Power!!!  I had a jar of cream and my daughter wanted to whip it rather than mix it into the scones/damper.   I said we didnt have anything other than a fork.  I will show this to Sparkey.  Did you make it up or do you buy the attachment?

Hi Carolyn, It's just a old whisk I found in the second draw!! I was surprised the boss said I could use it. Had to cut the end off so it would fit into the drill. Worked really well.

Cheers

Very cunning device Jono, I like it!

Not a real bad looking camp spot either.
Our Au. day was spent at the local. Missus had the foresight to leave at a reasonable hour.
By Tues. morning I wish I had!
