Hi all... my hubby found this site and did the log in thingie, so calling me Melissa will do fine! We haven't had a chance to use our co yet, but I used to use one at least once a month when I was in the army cadets, I ended up as cook for our unit... mostly it was chuck it all in, sit back and stir every beer change, but it did the job!Roll Eyes I'm in south oz and have been waiting for the cooler whether to get ours dusted off, but reading through some of your mouth watering recipes was almost too much!! We love to fish and go crabbing, so if anyone has any great tips for co cooking with any of these ingredients, i'll surely be interested.  One more thing... we bought our camp oven 2nd hand... it's a ripper, branded with "J&J Siddons, West Bromley, 3 1/2 gallon" Has anyone heard of this brand? I'd also like to know where I can get a replacement lid if possible... thanks so much, good to be here, hope to be eating with y'all soon!! Melissa

Welcome Melissa
I am sure you will enjoy yourself, like the rest off us on the site. Would like to see a photo of your camp oven when you get the time.

Howdy Melissa from the flip side of this planet, almost out on the Atlantic Ocean.

Yes, pic please.  I've not heard of a camp oven by those people.

Hi Melissa and welcome to the site.

Sound's like an old English camp oven.  Look forward to the photo.
